Portland’s second-round selection, 24th overall, in the 2009 WHL Bantam Draft … 2013-14: His third WHL season, all with Portland … Captain of the Winterhawks … Ranks third on his team in scoring, with 43 points in 31 games … Played for Team WHL in the CHL Subway Super Series vs. Russia in November … 2012-13: Helped Portland win a WHL Championship and played in the Memorial Cup … Named Portland Scholastic of the Year … 2011-12: Led Portland rookies in scoring, ranking 11th overall  … Minor Hockey:  Played two seasons with the Saskatoon Contacts in the Saskatchewan Major Midget Hockey League … Named Saskatchewan Midget AAA League first team all-star in 2010-11, leading his team in scoring and was named team MVP … Won a bronze medal with Saskatchewan at the 2010 Western Canada Challenge … Named most dedicated player on the Saskatoon Contacts in 2009-10

Son of Tim and Cindy … Has one brother Keaton, who performs in the Royal Winnipeg Ballet … Father Tim played junior A hockey and played both hockey and football at the University of Saskatchewan … Cousin Boston plays for the Regina Pats of the WHL … Won a silver medal with Canada at the World Ball Hockey Championship in 2012 … Plays both the guitar and piano … Favourite hobby is to go fishing

Choix de deuxième ronde de Portland, 24e au total, lors du repêchage bantam de la WHL en 2009… 2013-14 : Sa troisième saison dans la WHL, toutes avec Portland… Capitaine de Winterhawks… Troisième meilleur pointeur de son équipe avec 43 points en 31 matchs… A joué pour l’équipe de la WHL lors de la Super Série Subway de la LCH contre la Russie en novembre… 2012-13 : A aidé Portland à remporter le championnat de la WHL et a pris part à la Coupe Memorial… Nommé Joueur-étudiant de l’année de Portland… 2011-12 : Meilleur pointeur chez les recrues de Portland, 11e au total… Hockey mineur : A joué deux saisons avec les Contacts de Saskatoon de la Ligue de hockey midget majeur de la Saskatchewan… Nommé à la première équipe des étoiles de la Ligue midget AAA de la Saskatchewan en 2010-11 alors qu’il a été le meilleur pointeur et le Joueur par excellence de son équipe… A remporté une médaille de bronze avec la Saskatchewan au Défi de l’ouest du Canada 2010… Nommé le Joueur le plus dévoué des Contacts de Saskatoon en 2009-10

PERSONNEL

Fils de Tim et Cindy… A un frère, Keaton, qui danse avec le Royal Winnipeg Ballet… Son père Tim a joué au hockey junior A et il a joué au hockey et au football à l’Université de la Saskatchewan… Son cousin Boston joue pour les Pats de Regina dans la WHL… A remporté une médaille d’argent avec le Canada au Championnat mondial de hockey-balle en 2012… Joue de la guitare et du piano… Son passe-temps préféré est la pêche
